Global Opportunities Week: 18 – 22 November 2024

A week-long series of events held every November, featuring information sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities with programme coordinators, past participants, and global partners. Learn about the variety of global programs available, including exchanges, short-term opportunities, and scholarships.

Get involved with our events and take the first step toward an enriching global experience. Whether you are just starting to explore your options or are already preparing to go abroad, our events are designed to provide the support and resources you need to succeed.

Monday 18th November 2024

Introduction to Global Opportunities at City St George’s, with student panel

All undergraduate students at City not in their final year are welcome to attend this one hour briefing on the opportunities available to study and work abroad.

Global Opportunities Fair

  • 13:00 - 16:00pm
  • The Pavilion (University Building)

1st and 2nd year students are invited to attend the Global Opportunities Fair to learn about their exchange and summer abroad options.

How to Prepare a Successful Global Opportunities Application

Learn about the application process for the Exchange and Summer Abroad Programmes, and how to write an effective application to help you stand out from the crowd.

How to register for events

Registering for our events is easy:

  • Register online - click on the event you are interested in and follow the registration instructions. Make sure to register early, as some events have limited spots available.  Registering also ensures you will be sent the slides and additional information following the events.
  • Prepare for the event - review  any pre-event materials or resources provided in the registration confirmation to ensure you are prepared to make the most of the session.
