Book an appointment with a Careers Consultant. They can help you think about your strengths and interests, and what types of options might be best for you.
We offer workshops on career decision making, as well as specialised workshops exploring options in each school.
Every year we have hundreds of employers visit City to attend our fairs, panel events and employer skills workshops. Hear direct from employers about what it's like to work in their fields.
Take an online career quiz, and read job profiles and careers guides to learn about different career paths.
Getting involved with extracurricular activities can give you exposure to different areas, help you develop skills, and make new friends. Experience City has information on all the ways you can get involved.
Volunteering is a great way to build on your skills and gain experience, especially if you're interested in the public sector or charities.

A Professional Mentor can help you identify areas where you need to develop and provide guidance on achieving your career goals. . Applications open in October and January each year for 2nd and 3rd year students.

Work for City in temporary and Student Ambassador roles. We hire hundreds of students every year in many different kinds of roles. We also advertise temporary roles and internships with local businesses.
