Travel discounts
When travelling to campus or elsewhere on public transport, don't forget to check which discounts you're eligible for as a student, including Oyster cards and Railcards.
Ways to reach main campus
The main City campus address is: Northampton Square, EC1V 0HB
Bus routes
The closest bus stops to main campus are designated by the initials: UF, UK, UN, UP, US. These are marked clearly and will be a helpful reminder to board at the correct stop in order to take your bus in your preferred direction and ultimately to your destination. The 4: Archway to Blackfriars (North London to Central London South)
The 19: Battersea Bridge to Finsbury Park (Southwest Central to North London)
The 56: Whipps Cross to King Edward Street (Northeast to Saint Paul's in Central)
The following bus-routes below are also close by, with an extra 5 to 15 minute walk to the main campus in Northampton Square. The majority of them stop at Angel Station on the Northern line, which is close to Northampton Square.
Remember of course, that you can easily transfer from one bus to another and often for free on those days where you forget an umbrella.

By London Underground
The nearest Underground stations are Angel on the Northern line (Bank branch) and Barbican and Farringdon on the Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Elizabeth lines. All City buildings are approximately 10 minutes walk from the nearest Underground station.

By car
Parking in the roads surrounding the Northampton Square site is at parking meters.
Almost all of City's sites are within the Congestion Charge zone, which means drivers will pay a daily charge -,currently £15 a day - payable in advance, between 7am and 10pm everyday. For more information visit cclondon.com.

Please note that teaching for some undergraduate study and most postgraduate takes place at Bunhill Row, EC1Y 8TZ.

By car

Gatwick Airport and Luton Airport
The Thameslink serves Gatwick and takes you to Blackfriars Station for around £12.40 in just under an hour. From there you can take the Northern Line to Angel station and then walk to Northampton Square.
London City Airport
Take the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) towards Bank station and change to the Northern Line (northbound) for Moorgate, Old Street or Angel stations.
Stansted Airport
The Stansted Express connects Stansted Airport with Liverpool Street station. Trains run every 15 minutes and the journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Pre-booked rates start at £16.
