Over 2,000 City students celebrated their graduation this summer.

Published Friday, 27th July, 2018 in University news

Congratulations to all our students who graduated in this year’s summer graduation ceremonies!

The ceremonies took place this July, where over 2,000 students graduated. During the week, City also awarded honorary degrees to three respected individuals: George Philip Willis, Baron Willis of Knaresborough, Hon Judge Nicholas Hilliard QC, Recorder of London and Professor Carlo Rubbia, Physicist.

It was a particularly exciting graduation for  Maurice and Simcha Tamman, who graduated from CASS Business School on the same day with a first class and upper second class honours degree. They achieved this having had twin baby boys in the final year of their degree and in the middle of their dissertation! Congrats Maurice and Simcha. You can read their story here.

You can also catch up with all of the action on City’s official social media channels, which included student speaker interviews on Instagram TV and more content on Twitter and Facebook. The hashtag is #CityGrad and you can still share your pictures and memories of graduation on social media.
