Find out about Mental Health services at City and beyond.

This year’s theme focuses on young people’s mental health and mental health in a changing world, and provides an opportunity to raise awareness, offer support and encourage people of all ages to start talking about mental health.
Here are City, there are plenty of support systems available, including our dedicated Student Counselling & Mental Health Service (SCMHS), who are here to provide confidential emotional and practical advice. We’ll also be continuing to develop the care we offer as part of our response to UUK’s #stepchange framework, which encourages a university-wide approach to student mental health.
Earlier this year SCMHS marked University Mental Health Day by hosting an art exhibition entitled ‘#Stepchange: expanding perspectives on mental health and wellbeing’. They’re now launching a creative initiative to support mental health and wellbeing, and are looking for contributions from students across the University. Whether you’re a budding Picasso or a first time artist, if you enjoy expressing yourself through art work then please get in touch via: firstname.lastname@example.org
