They offer a number of services to help you get the best of your time at University, both in and out of lectures.

The SU are also here to help us unwind after a hard day’s studying. They organise events throughout the year. From Welcome Week to Study Well and everything in between, they've got your events calendar sorted.

Societies a big part of university life. The SU coordinate societies on campus. You can join or start your own society through the SU.

Another important aspect of the SU role is representing our voices on campus. Each year, they run elections for Student Representatives who are here to make sure our voices are heard on campus, as well as offer academic support. They have experienced advisors ready to help and useful guides on their website to explain the processes. They also conduct surveys among students to find out new ways in which they can support you.

If you run into an academic challenge, the SU can help you with that too. They offer self-help guides and advice on appeals, complaints and more.
