Find out about arrangements for Tait Building on Saturday 12th October, when it will be closed for cable installation.
Published Friday, 4th October, 2019 in University news
On Saturday 12th October, Property and Facilities will install new electrical cables in Tait Building. To do this safely, electrical power to the building will be suspended for the day. As a consequence, the building will be closed to all students and staff, including those with out of hours access permission.
The University is aware of a small number of electrical items that will require power throughout the suspension and will provide temporary electrical feeds to ensure these requirements are met. If you have a critical need for electrical power on the 12th please let PaF know as soon as possible, who will ensure you are supported, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com by Thursday 10th October.
