Carers Week 2020

This annual campaign is brought to life by thousands of organisations who come together to provide supports for carers and highlight the vital role they play in our communities. Carers Week raise awareness of caring and highlight the challenges unpaid carers face when making contributions to families and communities throughout the UK.

This year, people across the country are continuing to face new challenges as a result of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak. Age UK, British Gas and Carers UK are some of the supports and sponsors that have provided support for these carers.

Here at City, we support our students with caring responsibilities through our dedicated programme, City Cares. City Cares provides specialised individual support from a designated member of staff, including pastoral, financial and educational assistance.
