City has issued statements of solidarity with Andrew Boateng.

On Thursday June 4th, a City staff member, Andrew Boateng (Course Officer, School of Arts and Social Sciences) and his teenage son were detained by Metropolitan police officers and threatened with tasers after being wrongly suspected of involvement in a crime.

President Professor Sir Paul Curran and City’s BAME Staff Affinity Network have both issued statements of solidarity with Andrew and his family, wich you can read below.
