To support you throughout your time at City, the University has created the ‘You report. We support’ tool.
Published Tuesday, 23rd February, 2021 in University news
The new 'You report. We support' tool is part of the #NeverOk campaign, which represents City’s commitment to creating a University community which is as diverse, vibrant and accessible as possible, where work is continually done to ensure that all students and staff feel welcome, safe and empowered to bring their entire selves to their studies and work. The tool has been developed as part of the Bullying and Harassment Group’s work to audit, review and update our policies and procedures, using your previous feedback and updated legislation and guidance for universities.
You can use the tool to report a wide range of issues which may be affecting you, including inappropriate behaviour, abuse and homelessness.
To report an issue, simply fill in a short form:
- You will see a list of people you can report to including designated safeguarding and welfare officers in your School, central safeguarding team and your Students’ Union advice team, so you can choose who you share your report with.
- You can choose whether to make a named or anonymous report.
For more information about what you can use the tool to report, how to use it and what happens next, head to the ‘You Report. We Support.' page.
