The Lord Mayor's Show is one of the best-known annual events in London as well as one of the longest established, dating back to the 16th century. The University has a presence in the show every year because the Lord Mayor is the Rector of City, University of London.

City's Events Team are looking for volunteers! Specifically, City students to take part in this year's Lord Mayor's Show. Deadline for applying is the 31st of October 2021.

The Lord Mayor's Show is one of the best-known annual events in London as well as one of the longest established, dating back to the 16th century. The University has a presence in the show every year because the Lord Mayor is the Rector of City, University of London. As such, our presence in the parade is regarded as one of the University’s most high-profile events of the year.

This is a great opportunity for you to support City whilst taking part in this historic parade - please see initial details below:

  • Date: Saturday 13th November 2021
  • Times: 8.45am - 3.00pm (approx)
  • Where to meet: Bayes Business School (Lower Ground Milling Area)
  • Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
