As part of helping keep our City community safe, City has teamed up with the Camden Council to arrange a vaccine bus to visit campus and offer the Pfizer vaccine (both 1st and 2nd doses) for free.

There are currently two dates the bus will be visiting Northampton Square:

  • Tuesday 28th September, 9am - 1pm
  • Thursday 7th October, 9am - 3pm

You can also drop-in throughout the day without having booking a slot. If you have booked an appointment, the system does not send through a confirmation email - just turn up at the time you selected.

If you are unable to attend either of these sessions there are lots of ways you can receive a vaccine:

  • Through your GP surgery - if you are registered with a GP, you'll be invited to book your vaccine through your GP.
  • Through National Testing Centres - you can book your vaccines at a location that is convenient for you on the NHS website.
  • If you aren't registered with a GP - while registration with a GP is encouraged to access the vaccine, you can also book your Covid-19 vaccination appointments as an unregistered patient through a local GP practice.
  • You can also attend a Walk-In centre which requires no prior booking or for you to be registered with a GP.

If you need to register with a GP, you can use this guide to help you.

We understand you may have some questions or concerns about the vaccine - you can find further information by watching this information video from Dr Enrique Castro-Sanchez from the School of Health Sciences and reading the NHS FAQs for students.

You are not required to have had the vaccines or show proof to come onto campus; however, we strongly encourage all members of our community to get the vaccine to help protect themselves and others. Please note, you may be required to show proof of being vaccinated or a negative lateral test, in other external venues, so make sure you check entry requirements.

If you have any questions, you can head to the Covid-19 FAQs on the Student Hub or email the University's Student Health Service.
