Welcome Back Week events taking place Mon 30 Jan - Fri 3 Feb

The University and Student’s Union has organised a range of events for Welcome Back Week taking place on Campus across Monday 30 January - Friday 3 February.

Whether you're settling in for the first time at City or need a refresh of settling back into campus life after the break, there are many events in which students can get involved with including:

  • Refresher's Fair, Pavilion, University Building (Tuesday 31 January, 11am-3pm) - join the Students' Union to meet various societies, sports teams and grab yourself some freebies.
  • Wellbeing Fair , Pavilion, University Building (Thursday 2 February, 11am-3pm) - find out about the wellbeing support available whilst at City whilst playing games and getting free food.
  • Welcome Back Party with Hexagon Drum and Bass Collective, CityBar, Tait Building (Thursday 2 February, 7pm-11pm) - as part of the Student Health and Wellbeing team's holistic support programme, celebrating the benefits of music and neurodiversity.

The Academic Skills team are also running a series of 'New Year, Fresh Start' sessions which are designed to get you back into the swing after the break, including a session specifically on reflecting on feedback you've received during Term 1. All of these can be found on their events page.
