Islamophobia Awareness Month is an annual campaign that showcases the positive contributions of Muslims and raises awareness of Islamophobia in society.
Published Monday, 11th November, 2024 in University news
The theme for this year’s Islamophobia Awareness Month (IAM) campaign is #SeedsOfChange. It aims to show how small actions, like starting a conversation, can create big change. There are small steps everyone can take to raise awareness of Islamophobia. Find out more about this year’s campaign on IAM’s website.
Liberating CityLibrary
As part of the Liberating CityLibrary scheme, students are invited to suggest books for the library to buy. The scheme is designed to increase the range of books in the library by people of colour and to start conversations, aligning with this year’s #SeedsOfChange campaign. Find out more and suggest a book to purchase on City’s website.
