My name is Edward Sanson, I am a second year economics student as well as your 1st XV Captain next year. Last season coming to the team as a fresher, I very much enjoyed my personal and the team's progress. I’m very much looking forward to building on the quality of rugby we showcased in the last season. We adapted well to each other's strengths, as well as weaknesses, to create a hard working and tenacious side, which we look to develop in future seasons.

I hope to maintain the level of dedication, commitment and hard work the club has built up in recent years which has become essential to the club ethos. I am further looking forward to making new friends and helping new players develop their game, irrespective of experience.

We have an excellent bunch of lads, with fantastic talent and potential that I, and the rest of the club are keen on helping you fulfil.

Edward Sanson, 1st XV Captain
