Volleyball club

Join our volleyball club and contribute to our success.  If you are a competitive player, you can join our men's or women's team. Over the season 16/17, on the women's team we gained our second successive league promotion after being crowned Champions of British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) South Eastern Division 2B which allowed us to compete over the 17/18 season in the BUCS South Eastern Division 1A where we finished 3^rd. Over the season 17/18 the men’s team has been crowned Champions of British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) South Eastern Division 3 and will be playing in Division 2 in the upcoming season. Other successes include achieving 13^th place for the women’s team and 15^th for the men’s team in Volleyball England's Student Cup.  The men’s team was the only Division 3 team which managed to make it to this prestigious tournament.

If you are a social player, you can join our CityActive sessions. They take place every week and hundreds of students have played volleyball since the program started in 2013. See you on the court.

• Our women’s team compete in a BUCS South Eastern tier 1A league & BUCS South Eastern Conference Cup
• Men's team compete BUCS South Eastern league division 2A

• Short-listed TeamCity Club of the Year and Inclusive Club of the Year 2017/2018
• Our coach Hai-Binh Ly won Coach of the Year 2017/2018
• The Women’s team won TeamCity Team of the Year 2016/2017
• Short-listed for TeamCity Inclusive Club of the Year 2016/2017
• The women’s team finished 3rd in BUCS South Eastern Division 1B
• The men’s team finished 1^st in BUCS South Eastern Division 3
• 13^th place for the Women’s team and 15^th place for the Men’s team at the Student cup
• The women’s team tied for 1^st in the Volleyball England National Student Cup Qualifiers
