Learn about the food systems with IFSTAL

Are you interested in the systems that get food from farm or factory to our plates? The Innovative Food Systems Teaching and Learning (IFSTAL) initiative might be for you.

Aimed at PG students, IFSTAL was set up in 2015 and is led by Oxford University. It is a network for students and academics to connect and enhance their understanding of food systems beyond their own discipline.

From one billion people going hungry every day to environmental degradation, IFSTAL aims to understand the failings in our food system that have caused these issues. By joining the network, you will have access to resources, a summer school and the opportunity to collaborate with members in different institutions. If you are PG student and are interested, search ‘IFSTAL’ on Moodle and click ‘enrol’ to get started.
