The Inspection Panel is an independent complaints mechanism for people and communities who believe that they have been, or are likely to be, adversely affected by a World Bank-funded project.

Claire studied at City for one semester via the Study Abroad programme, taking modules in ‘Politics of Forced Displacement’ and ‘Human Rights & Reconciliation after Conflict’. She will return to her home institution of Arcadia University in Philadelphia for her final year of study, where she is majoring in international studies with a minor in Spanish. Claire has also studied abroad in South Africa, Cuba and Chile.

Reflecting on her time at City and how it has equipped her for her internship Claire says:

I will continue to cherish my time spent at City for it placed me in a new learning environment which expanded my knowledge with modules my home university does not offer. My professors were so passionate about their work and are real experts on the subjects. I really appreciated the diverse student population for the unique insights and engaging discussions it facilitated. Already my time at City has opened new doors for me, and I am excited to see what it may bring next.”
