The Mayor's Entrepreneur Programme aims to create growth that makes London cleaner, greener and ready for the future.

Published Wednesday, 27th January, 2021 in University news

The programme is a competition that has asked London’s students to come up with viable, sustainable business ideas since 2012. The competition taps into the perspectives and creativity of London’s students to find solutions that will improve the city.

This year there are five awards with each of the winners receiving £20,000 to start up their business along with expert mentoring from staff at City Hall to get your idea to market.

How does it work?
  • Come up with a great idea
  • Submit your idea
  • Judges will shortlist the 35 best ideas
  • The semi-final
  • The finals
Who can enter?
  • You must be, or have been in 2020/21, a student from a university or college within Greater London or have graduated in December 2019. You'll need to submit proof you were a student, like a scan of your student ID/graduation certificate showing the date
  • You must be over 18 on 30th March 2021
