With University Mental Health Day just around the corner on Thursday 14 March, you can join City’s Student Health & Wellbeing Service for a series of events to support your wellbeing and explore the services available to you.

Three sessions are running throughout the day. Come along to find out more about City's wellbeing support and learn from others lived experiences.

Come and join three guest speakers and hear about lived experiences of mental health alongside two key support networks for you here at City.

Jonny Hennesey Brown: Jonny is a musician who has lived experience of bipolar disorder. Following five hospitalisations, Jonny has gone on to found a hugely successful music company and has worked with artists such as Little Mix and Meatloaf.

Eva, President of the Neurodiversity Society: Eva helped establish City’s Neurodiversity society, a place to unmask, meet likeminded people, vent and play games.

Annavi, City’s Mental Health Society: Annavi helped to found a new society at City which raises awareness of mental health.

Cycling can improve your mood and has been shown to help improve the symptoms of some mental health conditions like depression and anxiety.

City’s Sustainability team are also offering free bike repairs with Dr Bike mechanics and a bike sale on Thursday 14 March from 10am-2pm in Northampton Square as part of University Mental Health Day. Dr Bike’s Mechanics will be tune up your bike and you’ll be able to buy a refurbished adult bike from £60.
