Whether you’re graduating this summer or looking to develop your skills alongside your studies, the CareersHub has lots of resources to help build your confidence, experience and employability.

You can use the CareersHub to:

  • Book a 1:1 appointment with a Careers Consultant, who can help review your CV, cover letters and applications, conduct mock interviews, and provide general careers advice across a wide range of sectors. Appointments can take place online or in-person
  • Review your CV – use the VMock platform for instant and detailed feedback and follow its CV guidance to improve your CV's presentation and impact
  • Attend events and workshops – learn more about recruitment processes, open vacancies, employability opportunities and network with various employers. Events are usually posted two weeks before they take place. If you can’t attend a session, remember to cancel your booking as soon as possible so another student can attend
  • Get involved and gain experience – explore City's Professional Mentoring, CityBuddies, Micro-Placements and Volunteering opportunities to enhance your skillset and connect with others
  • Search for jobs – The CareersHub lists hundreds of graduate jobs, internships, placements, full-time and part-time jobs from employers within London, the UK and globally
  • Work while you study – you can find part-time temporary jobs at City with Unitemps.
  • If you need additional you can access this with Careers Ahead
  • Resources and guides – you can find lots of useful resources to help with interviews, writing cover letters, finding work experience and more. You can also explore Graduate Attributes to discover what skills employers are looking for in City graduates.
