What is it?
SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) is one of the most popular statistical packages which can perform highly complex data manipulation and analysis. Members of staff and students can use SPSS at home and it is available for installation on personal laptops and desktops.
How to use it?

How can I get it?
- Raise a service request ticket with the IT Service Desk by selecting 'Log an IT Service Request'. Locate the 'Software Requests' category and then select 'Student/Home use software request'.
- Once you have submitted your request, you will receive an email to confirm further instructions.
- The software key will be sent to your mailbox. Login into your City email to check and obtain the software key.
- You are required to download the software after receiving the key. The installation links are provided in the first email. Alternatively, click on the relevant installation link below.
Please note, it is necessary to renew your SPSS authorisation code annually around August each year.
